East Sveadahl 150th Anniversary
East Sveadahl Lutheran Church doors were first opened in 1870 by immigrants
from Sweden. Plans were made to celebrate our 150th Anniversary on
August 2, 2020, but due to COVID those plans were cancelled.
Finally on August 8, 2021, a Recognition Sunday was held with Pr. Mandy France
as our guest preacher. Members and guests viewed the display of pictures
and church artifacts, shared East stories and memories, and enjoyed the
cupcakes and beverages.
Although the day wasn’t as originally planned, it was a wonderful tribute to
150 years of ministry.
A memorial booklet was shared with everyone that day. If you would like a copy of the booklet, please contact Susan Anderson. ([email protected] or call 507-317-5293.)
